ReplyDeleteI already had this nice collection but thank you anyway. It gives an insight of byron's early career and has an interesting interview !
ReplyDeleteWow, just found out about this blog today! Amazing, Heep have been MY band since 1987, when a friend passed me tapes of Salisbury and Live in Europe 1979. I'm familiar with great new bands like Black Bonzo and Wicked Minds but I see also many gems in this blog. I'd suggest you also to check out Standarte, italian band on Black Widow records, they did 3 records in the 90's, with heavy Atomic Rooster, Quatermass, etc. influences.
ReplyDeleteThanks anyway!

Thanks for the comment
ReplyDeleteGlad you like the blog and thank you for pointing me in the direction of Standarte, I am currently listening to the first album and very good it is too. It has all those influences you mention with just a touch of early marillion thrown in for good measure, a thoroughly good listen and highly recommended
