Rick Wakeman - Spider/Danielle
This post is for any Rick Wakeman fans out there. I have had this single since I picked it up in a bargain bin shortly after its release for the princely sum of 10p its been played to death over the years as I really like it especially the beautiful Instrumental Danielle. I have tried in vain to get digital versions of these songs but they simply don't exist even the official Wakeman site lists the single but that's it, there is no other info available and they have never found their way onto any album or CD enjoy
Lyrics for Spider
I am the spider
coming down my web to find her
I will give her
a spine-chilling shiver
(creepy crawly)
take her back to my web,
(creepy crawly)
I'm hanging by a thread!
I'm the spider
I would like to crawl inside her
have fun near me
I can hardly make her hear me.
too late now to hide her,
I can see a spider,
crawling down beside her!
too late now to hide her,
I can see a spider,
crawling down beside her!
(creepy crawly)
take her back to my web,
(creepy crawly)
I'm hanging by a thread!
One cold morning
maybe without any warning
without speaking
I can get her senses ringing
too late now to hide her,
I can see a spider,
crawling down beside her!
too late now to hide her,
I can see a spider,
crawling down beside her!
(creepy crawly creepy crawly creepy crawly)
(too late now to hide her, I can see a spider!)
I am the spider
I am the spider
(creepy crawly)

URIAH HEEP 1972-06-03 Mehrzweckhalle Zofingen, Switzerland
This is one of two recently released never before heard shows that have surfaced from the same gig in Mehrzweckhalle Zofingen, Switzerland heralding from 1972 it features the first known recording of circle of hands and also has a unique encore of two of the songs from their Rock 'n' Roll Medley played in their entirety
I am only going to post the first of these recordings which I have converted to mp3 if you want the original flac files and the second show pop along to dime which can be found here, both of those torrents also include copies of the original tapes so if you have the time and expertise you can mess about with them to your hearts content
a massive thank you has to go to the original tapers
"Judge Free" & "Doc Bubenberg" and his friend "William Tell" for providing the "raw files".
